Zoe Jones is a senior in Emory College’s Political Science Department. She enrolled in the Imagining Democracy course to learn about the systemic barriers to democratic participation and the strategies that political organizers use to alleviate these barriers. She hopes to employ this knowledge in the advocacy and community organizing sphere and to continue her study of voter suppression and mobilization within a PhD research program.
