Kamsi Obiorah (she/her) is a third year at Emory University, where she is majoring in Political Science and minoring in Economics. She is currently an intern in the Democracy Program at The Carter Center. Kamsi spent this summer doing research in Emory’s Department of Political Science and interning at the Community Investment Network, a national network of giving circles of color who pool their time, funds, and resources to address social issues impacting their communities. Her interests include nonprofit work, electoral politics, and international development. In her free time, Kamsi enjoys watching movies with her friends and family, taking pictures in nature, and going on walks.
